ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

HARGROVES DR AND PASTURE BRANCH WATER EXTENSIONS

TOWN OF GREENEVERS, NC

Separate, sealed BIDS for the Town of Greenevers for the Hargroves Dr and Pasture Branch Water Extensions (SRP-D-ARP-0109) will be received by the Town of Greenevers at 314 E Charity Rd, Rose Hill, NC 28458 until 2:00 pm Eastern Time on August 7, 2025 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered, to ensure that the BIDDER is properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina.

The project will include installation of ±11,052 LF of 6” PVC, DIP, and fusible PVC water lines, ±1,243 LF of 2” PVC water lines, fire hydrants, residential services and associated valves and fittings.

The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Plans, Specifications and other CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

1. Greenevers Town Hall, 314 E Charity Rd, Rose Hill, NC 28458
2. The ADAMS COMPANY, Inc., 708 Abner Phillips Rd., Warsaw, NC 28398

Digital copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be obtained via email from the office of the Engineer located at The ADAMS COMPANY, Inc. at 910-293-2770. Printed copies of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of the Engineer located at The ADAMS COMPANY, Inc., 708 Abner Phillips Rd., Warsaw, NC 28398 upon payment of $ 250.00 for each set.

An optional Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Greenevers Town Hall at 2:00 pm on July 24, 2025.

The Town of Greenevers is committed to and supportive of efforts to effectively maintain and/or increase the use of Small and Minority/Women owned business and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation for Construction Projects, services (including professional and consulting services) and commodities purchases.

No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Town of Greenevers reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
